Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by SW Powdercoat
& Cerakote Ltd. By commissioning work with us, you acknowledge that you
have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Acceptance of Goods and Risk

All items shall be deemed accepted in satisfactory condition upon
collection by the customer or their appointed courier. -
SW Powdercoat & Cerakote Ltd will take photographs of completed items
prior to packaging for dispatch, which may be retained and used as
evidence in the event of any dispute. -
Upon collection and departure from our premises, all risk in the goods
transfers to the customer. -
SW Powdercoat & Cerakote Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss or
damage occurring during transit, which must be pursued directly with the
courier provider.
3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon collection of goods unless otherwise agreed in
writing. -
For customers receiving parts by post, an invoice will be issued via email
and must be paid in full on the same day of receipt. -
Full payment must be received in cleared funds prior to any items being
released to the customer or their appointed courier. -
Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England
base rate, calculated on a daily basis, in accordance with the Late
Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. - Accepted payment methods include bank transfer and cash.
4. Delivery and Courier Responsibility

Any items not collected in person must have courier arrangements organised
by the customer. -
SW Powdercoat & Cerakote Ltd does not arrange or insure shipping on
behalf of the customer. -
Customers are responsible for ensuring that courier services are suitable
and reliable.
5. Workmanship and Claims

SW Powdercoat & Cerakote Ltd undertakes to provide high-quality
Powdercoat and Cerakote finishes. -
Claims shall only be considered under the following conditions:

Notification period: Any issues must be reported
within 48 hours of collection or delivery. -
Evidence required: Clear photographs and a written
description must be provided. -
Exclusions: We are not liable for damage arising from
improper handling, incorrect installation, misuse, transit damage, or
normal wear and tear. -
Remedies: Where a claim is accepted, SW Powdercoat
& Cerakote Ltd reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to
repair, recoat, or offer a partial refund.

6. Material Limitations

Powdercoat: Suitable for metal surfaces only. Adhesion on
surfaces not prepared by SW Powdercoat & Cerakote Ltd or on unsuitable
materials is not guaranteed. -
Cerakote: Designed for high-performance protection. Minor
colour variation due to material differences shall not be considered a
defect. -
Heat Resistance: Cerakote coatings perform within
specified limits; excessive or extreme heat exposure may affect colour and
durability.
7. Turnaround Time
- Estimated turnaround times shall be confirmed at the time of booking.

Delays caused by external factors, including supply chain disruption,
equipment failure, or weather conditions, are beyond our control and shall
not affect payment obligations.
8. Cancellations
-
Cancellations made prior to commencement of work may be accepted without
charge. -
Once work has commenced, SW Powdercoat & Cerakote Ltd reserves the
right to charge for all materials and labour incurred up to the point of
cancellation.
9. Warranty
A 12-month warranty is provided against flaking, peeling, and significant
coating defects, provided that:

The full process (preparation through to coating) has been completed by SW
Powdercoat & Cerakote Ltd; and - The item has been properly maintained.
This warranty does not cover:
- Impact damage
- Chemical exposure
- Environmental corrosion
- Misuse or neglect
- Any loss or damage occurring during transit or delivery
10. Amendments
SW Powdercoat & Cerakote Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and
Conditions at any time. The most up-to-date version shall be provided upon
request.
11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SW Powdercoat & Cerakote
Ltd’s total liability in respect of any claim, loss, or damage arising
from the services or goods supplied shall not exceed the total value of
the services paid by the customer. -
SW Powdercoat & Cerakote Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect,
consequential, or special losses, including loss of profit, business, or
goodwill.
