Powder Coating
Using a specialist machine, a free-flowing dry powder is applied. This is then cured in an oven, which melts the powder forming a protective layer of polyester.
Two tone powder coating
Utilising the method of powder coating, two different colours can be applied to an item’s surface. This entails first applying the lighter of the chosen colours and then curing the coating. Once cooled, the coloured area of this coat is masked prior to applying and curing the second colour in the unmasked area.
Cerakote
As a certified Cerakote applicator, I have been trained to apply Cerakote – a specialised coating composed of a polymer-ceramic compound – to metal and other materials. It can work especially well on car and motorcycle components, exhausts, valve covers and turbo housings due to its excellent heat tolerance.
Chemical Stripping
For wheels that have rotted or corroded, a chemical bath enables all of the paint and corrosion to be quickly and effectively removed without leaving unsightly pitting.
Media blasting
Once known as ‘sandblasting’, media blasting enables rust and old paint to be removed from parts in a surprisingly little amount of time. As a result, parts can soon be left looking immaculate.

Custom one-offs
Tailored to the individual needs of clients, SW Powdercoat and Cerakote take pride in working closely with customers on one-off powder coating projects – enabling their unique ideas, with custom finishes, to be brought to life. Along the way, we help determine the best and most cost-effective solutions for their specific requirements – ensuring quality results without unnecessary expense!
